Our Heatlogs® are manufactured at our own plant in Ghana, giving us complete control of the product until it meets the end user. Sawdust, a waste product at saw mills, is collected in large quantities and ran through a kiln press, heating the sawdust and compressing it into the log shape. A natural component in the sawdust, called lignin, is secreted from the wood under the high pressures and when cooled, binds the wood together to form the Heatlog®. Our Heatlogs® can burn for up to 2 hours in the right conditions but on average will burn for around 1 hour. They can be used on a variety of appliances such as log burners, chimeneas, open fires and multi-fuel stoves.
- Eco Friendly - Our Heatlogs® are made from completely recycled materials and packaged in a cardboard box which can be recycled again or used to help light a fire.
- High Heat Output - Due to the kiln drying process, the moisture content in these Heatlogs® is below 9%. This helps the logs burn efficiently and high temperatures.
- Easy To Store - The cardboard boxes make it easy to store these in a cupboard or stacked up near a log burner without taking up much room. Box measurements (cm) - 42x21x28. Log measurements - 18x6.5x6.5
- Clean Burn - Our Heatlogs® give off very little smoke, due to the low moisture content and leave behind very little ash. They don't produce sparks or spit and are very easy to light.
